A diamond in the rough.

Me and my wife bought a Bersa Thunder .380 for her to CCW and I tell you what, other than it being a .380 its a really well built little pistol.

I havent found really anything negative on this little pistol and am thinking about getting another one for a backup carry piece.

Anyone else have one?

A friend of mine picked one up as a carry gun and loved it. Then 2 weeks later traded it for a makarov. The trade was based on a old desire to have a Makarov and not on the quality of the Bersa.

The Bersa Thunder .380 is my #1 recommendation in that caliber...affordability, reliability, accuracy. I have owned two (sold) but am looking to pick up another. Feeds my hp handloads and shoots to exact point-of-aim.

My wife carries a Bersa in .380, but I don't know if it's the "Thunder".

It's all stainless, and the grips are wood. Nice little gun, but the grips make it seem a little large.

She likes it, and she carries it. I guess that's the important part.

We picked up hers for 200 used. When I cleaned it, it looked like it was only shot a few times. Were taking it to the range tomarrow

My top 5 requirements for a gun

5: comfortably fits my hand
4: controllable recoil
3: reloads quickly
2: doesn't blow up
1: goes 'bang' every time I pull the trigger.

Anything beyond that is gravy.

I like the mak or feg ppk style better

The Bersa is almost an exact copy of the Walther pp and looks identical to the FEG PA-63

Now with that said, the Thunder .380 CC is a dead ringer for the ppk as its smaller than the normal thunder .380

They're considered one of the most reliable 380's.....always go off.
